Very nice shots. My favorite is the dove. Nice detail and light and interesting angle.

Mourning doves are so peaceful, and docile. We have them nesting on our porch every year, and I have to guard the nest from the crows. Its a lesson in family life to see the babies grow, but always sad to see them leave, or worse yet, to lose one. Your photo is outstanding in detail and compositon.

    Wonderful shot of the Dove!

The geese are fine, too. I shot a few out of the car today, too.

Lucky I did, they were easily spooked today.

Isn't that just super to be able to see them up close like that? Makes it almost personal, nice.

Thanks much for the complement William!

Thank you Steve! the dove was shot with the 70-200+1.4TC the Geese with the 17-85. My blured shots with the above combo are dwindling, I'm quite happy about that!

Thanks a bunch Ginger! We have had almost constant wind it seems, no fun. Yesterday was just about perfect and all the birds were much calmer.
