    Part of the handle of an old sythe. That probably isn't spelled right so think Grim Reaper:):

    I like it - looks well used and rough!

    I think you need to either give it more space at the top, or crop it to less - just having that thin line above the metal of the handle makes it feel cut off. Kinda like this:

    Or you could do something different... like one half dark, one half light, etc.

    Yeah, it is (to me anyway) Feels like almost even spacing on the left and top sides.

    All of the textures connote "roughness." A very creative photo, too. Good job, Thusie. The browns and cremes complement each other nicely.
