Here is an email I received tonight

I was browsing through your gallery on smugmug and I have to say your photo's are just wonderful!! I am an artist, my favorite subject is animals. I was wondering if you ever sell the rights to any of you photos to be used as reference for artwork? If you do sell your photos for art reference what are you fees?

Does anyone have any experience with this kind of licensing?

Thoughts?

I don't have the book handy right now, but artist reference is covered in it. If I remember right, it's typically 75% to 100% of what you would charge regularly.
