Not even sure if this is a head stone. Found deep in the Pine Barrens.

    I like the idea a lot, but the picture doesn't pull me in because the stone gets lost. You might want to try a vertical crop (this would let you keep the leaves etc. around the stone and the bases of the trees in the background - both of which contribute to the story) and a contrast enhancement so that one's eyes are drawn to the stone. Whatever you decide, you have a really good idea here.

    YES!!!! I think that crop is perfect, really makes the stone to stand out yet keeps the rest (grass/trees) in to, they are a nice part of the picture.:):

    What would the crop look like if you placed the stone on a "third" & a bit larger? To me it looks a bit flat at the moment. I wonder if that would add another dimension.

    I tried several crops but Flyinggina's suggestion seems to work best. The stone itself is only part of the "Rough" in the photo so I don't think it needs to stand out too much. Thanks for the suggestions though.
