Playing with RAW and messing round with images. I know these don't follow the rules too much, but hey!

I'd like to see a smaller version of the first picture. At first I thought it was a picture of a window suspended in space, and it wasn't until I scrolled that I realized there was an interesting stone floor to be seen. :):

I really like the mood of the second picture. Nice gothic arches leading to a graceful window. The top "panes" of the window look a little blown out, but I don't mind that. It gives a pleasant blur that adds to the mood.

These are really nice pictures. Where did you take them?
Lord, keep my words sweet. Someday, I may have to eat them.

I am a sucker for old buildings and especially churches. Interesting effect with the lighting too.

Thanks guys, something just doesn't sit right with these images. I've played with them quite a bit but can't find the right "balance". I guess I need to learn some more Photoshop (who doesn't!).

The "church" is actually an Abbey in North Wales and was founded in the 13th century by Cistercian Monks, and was added to a century later.

Rob - that first shot is fantastic! I might crop it a bit for a portrait orientation, but the impact of the window floating in space yet anchored to the floor is really terrific. thumb.gif
