What a turkey.........................vulture that is. Nice set of captures, Jeff. Nothing wrong with those vulture birds. They are pretty graceful despite being a bit uninhibited at the dinner table.

Maybe they will be more plentiful in summer. I'd give my eye teeth for a vulture or a hawk. Of course we don't have egrets out here in the desert. Maybe I'll just have to take a trip to the coast.:):

I saw lots of birds the last 2 weekends when i was down your way to visit an old friend -even an osprey and the wildlife place has a rookery or so i hear any way a tip if you want a really good shot of a TV do what I do ---say to Ben look as he looks hit him down he goes and TV's are incoming that's why I get the shot as he gets some rest thanks Snap the real thing is getting lucky as they drop down low enough to get a shot --how far out west of Sd are you

I think the term STEAKED OUT is a very good choice of term and i will volunteer for that i can use the rest we will get an eagle long before we see the condor do you think the young guys know what that is --that was made just before the corvair right
