: I like how you set that up I also see the rough fabric edge or the 'rough edge'.. The wood is rough, but my mind keeps thinking splinterd, that doesn't mean much since my mind works funky sometimes.

All in all I do like the shot right down to the loose threads, but let someone else weigh in on how much it says rough to them. No help at all huh?

I really like the torn fabric/wood combo..... Although I might try it from a different angle b/c my eye has a hard time focusing on and fabric AND the wood at the current angle. It definitely says "rough" to me though!

you were a help! i was looking for some feedback if the idea was good and you helped! I do think I need to tweak it some - I had a hard time focussing - it's hard getting used to the shallow dof on this R1.
