Finally was able to feed my amateur habit and got a Rebel XT with kit lens and a EF 70-200mm f/4L USM. Here are some my fist shots of wildlife.

    I'm not sure on your ID on the last bird, Sandpipers are tough to ID sometimes, but I believe it is a Greater Yellowlegs.

    Thanks for your kindness. I think you are right on the Sandpiper pic. The website is also cool. I was trying to find a good site that would help ID birds and this look like a good one. Thanks again.
