Here's a tiny piece of some REAL red rock action. Shot in Sedona, AZ in April 2005, just after a surprise mix of snow and rain lasting 15 minutes,

I just noticed you had no replies here. This is an interesting picture of the "weather". I've been to Sedona and the red rocks are really beautiful.

I'm having a hard time deciding if the image is a little soft focus-wise or if it's just misty because of the weather. Sometimes you can improve the colors and clarity by adding a duplicate layer and changing the mode of that layer to "multiply" or "soft light" and then adjusting the opacity to taste.

Looks like you captured a "moment" though. thumb.gif

Resizing a 5mp image might be causing the softness. Then again, I've got some suspicious focus issues, but I have a hard time with having to send my Nikon all the way to Malaysia to get it calibrated. :nah

I've lived within a half hour of Sedona for several years, and I miss it a lot. My wife wants to move to the area and the first chance we get we're out of Wind Tunnel we're currently living in!
