Today I had the oppurtunity to put my best friend in a studio. I have never used a studio before today, so for most of the time I was just trying to learn. I wasn't using my camera I was using a Nikon D70...which was was weird. First time I'd ever used any nikon camera. Anyway, I'm pretty happy with my results but critique is most welcome. All images were shot in RAW.

i like 1 and 3. i like the contrast in 2, but something seems to be missing for me, maybe eye contact, i'm not sure. i like the eyes in 4, but not a big fan of the expression. nice work.

I like this one the best. Great job for your first time in a studio and using a "real" camera mwink.gif Now for that piercing? Something makes me want to just rip it out..

These are well done for a first studio attempt.
I particularly like #2. You did a nice job lighting the background with no spill.

Whats with the distracting scarf. Isn't it summertime down under?ne_nau.gif

Not anymore, last few days it has been very wet and cold. I'm not a huge fan of her piercing either. But I wanted her to be herself. This was my first time using a studio, and it was also her first time modelling, so we did about an hour of being silly to relax her. There's more in the gallery.

    Thanks for the comments.:):
