I found another towhee from the other day that was actually better than the one I posted. The light is better and the birds "pose" is better too.

    Oh, that is a pretty Towhee, Snappy..........with the catch light in his eye and all.

    I can remember years ago trying to find House Finches, used to feed and know those little birds, in another life.:):

    They are very pretty little birds........ wish we got pretty ones around here, but alas I have to settle for my thousands of sparrows.

    :curtsey *blush* Gosh thanks everyone.

    I sure appreciate all of you taking the time to comment on my little birdies. I'm so thrilled when I look at one of these shots on the computer screen and find that it came out something like I had hoped. I think I'm getting the hang of it now. :D

    Next step, some more exotic subjects. Calling all hawks, crows, eagles, vultures and anything large and interesting.mwink.gif

    Perhaps a trip to the ocean for egrets is in order. :D
