Hugo is trying to be a model and wanted some shots for his portfolio. This is my second attempt at using my Yake studio strobes. Comments/Critique welcome:

    I think this one needs a new technique on your B&W Conversion....

    I actually shot it BW in the camera, though it is lacking in contrast for sure. I need to get me a copy of PS CS.

    LO, I feel that he's fighting the background on the color shots. There's something about how bright and busy it is that distracts from him, even though you have him well lit. On the B&W, he's all greyed out, not enough contrast. Yeah, I think you're right, some kin of software (doesn't have to be Photoshop!) would help you make a crisper B&W.
