Andy, I thought I asked you to stop stepping on my posts.
The following previous post shows you are a vile personality as well:
Amazing Mother Nature
Hello All,
Some pics just to show you how amazing Mother Nature can be.
Please read the brief image captions for the details of the shoot:

Nick
Went poking around in your galleries, took me a while but I found this,

Nice!

Your reply to this prevous post of mine shows you are cearly disconnected with the flow of things. I posted about Mother Nature and you reply " it took me a while but I found this,"
On another previous post you revealed the nature of my Smugmug account.
You are not a nice person, as your own words reveal.
Just stay out of my posts.
I am sure you will probably try to remove this thread.
If removed I will email my copy to Smugmug.
Ouch, I'm terribly sorry you are offended by my trying to help you show your photos off in the best light possible. My post, above, was intended to encourage you to embed the photo, vs. attach it, because the attachment on Vbulletin won't look as good as the embedded photo from your gallery. I think the seagulls would show better - and since you're showing off the pics from your new camera, folks would want to see the best possible pics, I should think.
As to the last post of mine, in your prior thread, all I can say is "wow," Nick -- I was genuinely paying you a compliment on that photo in question - after having spent some time perusing your galleries.
I'll move along now, as you request - I hope you have a better day!

dude, layoff. it seems like all you do is get mad at people when they are just trying to help. Layoff andy, he meant it as advice. and not mean in the slightest way possible.

Lets see here. Andy gave you good advice on how to link your pics so they look their best. Then in an earlier post he went through your galleries found one of your pics he like and complemented you on it.
Your response to these actions is to call him "vile". :crazy
As Shay has already pointed out personal attacks are no acceptable here. In addition if you are going to make a post here anybody, including Andy, gets the opportunity to respond to your post. You can't determine who can or can not respond to you.

How many photographers does it take to change a light bulb? 50. One to change the bulb, and forty-nine to say, "I could have done that better!"
Nick, I'm sorry I was so flummoxed by your post last night that I missed this part. I'm not sure what you are referring to?
BTW, we're all owners here at SmugMug - but if you'd like to reach Baldy and Onethumb, the founders, you can do so by following the link here:

You know that I've been one of your supporters in the past when others were trashing your s9000.
BUT, you need to play better in the "dgrin sandbox". Everybody's just hanging around playing with their cameras and pictures. Don't get so upset over casual comments and people's simple opinions.
Andy = a vile person(ality). Only to his "rabbit habitat destroying neighbor".
I knew, of course, that trees and plants had roots, stems, bark, branches and foliage that reached up toward the light. But I was coming to realize that the real magician was light itself.

Wholenenight,
If you read Andy's remark above :
" Nick
Went poking around in your galleries, took me a while but I found this,"
From where I come from this is a major insult, which I ignored until Andy decided to step on my benign post as he did in the past.
For the benefit of others: "took me a while..Nice" needs no explaination.
And I restate that i ignored his remark when originally posted.
You mention a sand box. Andy threw sand in this case, and as this thread shows, he doesn't even know it.
Regards, Nicholas

Nick, you skin is way too thin for this gig. If Andy's post offended your delicate sensabilities I hate too think of your reaction to a serious critque.
You may recall that in that thread you only received two responses. One being Andy's, praising another shot in your gallery and Steve's response where he said you did not capture the time passage well in your shots.
Except for Steve's and Andy's responses you received no other responses. I didn't respond because I found the shots to be dull and uninteresting. Your post had 137 views and only Andy and Steve responded. That's usually a sign that your pictures failed to ignite any interest.
Now you attack one of the very few who responded to your post and he praised one of your shots. Very strange.

Nobody can see it, Nick, only you.
No insult, no foul.

Pssssst, Nick, Andy is the owner of dgrin.
Well, technically, Dgrin is part of SmugMug so yeah - but not the only owner, that would be all of us at SmugMug. And I like to think that Dgrin is made up of all of the folks that contribute in meaningful ways here, giving of themselves. And the lurkers who benefit, too.
I just try my best to keep things going in positive way here on Dgrin

Nick - You took a compliment as an insult and Andy has already apologized for the misunderstanding. Carrying on in this manner will get you nowhere and only lead to more hurt feelings.
Lets be adults here. This is one of the most friendly forums I have ever been on and would like to keep it that way. It is pretty clear that neither side is going to "win" this argument so shake hands and walk away.
