How many photographers does it take to change a light bulb? 50. One to change the bulb, and forty-nine to say, "I could have done that better!"

I shot one at an airport day in Palo Alto. A rescue organization was there educating the public about the owls, and other raptors.
I had a blast photographing my owl, but it was sure nervous about my lens. I think I was standing a little too close to it, but it remained calm.

i can relate. the handler suggested i stay back a bit, which was fine with me. those eyes just look right through you. they had a kestrel out, and had to put her away before the owl came out, lest the owl start thinking "dinner."
