Art, you've got a great eye. I missed that fin on my first go around with that shot. I was too fixated on the sun's location to notice it.
There were a lot of dolphin in the area this weekend. I think I just got lucky!:D
Beautiful
I like the bird -- if anything I'd put in a different bird silhouette that had a better flying or gliding look to it. It breaks up the symetry.
However, I went WOW before I saw the rest of the water at the bottom, so my suggestion would be to crop out a major portion of the water -- because? Well the bridge structures form a V shape, with the sun at the bottom -- and two much water detracts from what I think is the natural movement within the frame. But that's just my humble opinion...
Great shot! If I was going to PS it I would try removing the bird, and several of the objects on the horizon, also would crop out some water.
James.
edit: I think I would crop all the way up to and including the bright area in the water, the ratio would be about that of two 2/3 end to end, kind a pano look.
Nice...
I was going to tell you to keep it how it was; even to not clone out the bird. But I have to say that the new version is fantastic. Two thumbs up!
Wow! I thought it was great before, but this is about the nicest shot I've seen so far since joing Dgrin!!!
Holy cow!!! That's high praise that's not deserved. Thank you!:):
Andy, thanks for the comments. I was wondering if you saw this shot. How does one go about printing something like this that is such an odd size? I've only printed 8x10 or 8x12 in the past.
If you don't have a large format printer, and it doesn't sound like you do, I would have this professionally done. This would be great poster- size. Am I mistaken everyone, or is this a highly sale-able art print?????

I wouldn't know the first thing about selling this image even if it is saleable!

But I do have to say, to me, the flying bird is kinda a distraction.

AACK! I was looking for birds!
Anyone else think I should clone out the bird before I print this one?

I tried a full-gaussian blur on just the water, man, what a shot!
