I pulled in, the guys were already there. My headlights hit them and I remembered portrait photographer Greg Foster showing some of his work using what he called "the most commonly-available portrait lighting system" - his car headlights. So I figured I'd give it a try.

The truck was probably too close, so the top of the entrance didn't get lit and the bottom's too bright. I tried a few with a hand-held flash from a few angles to add some fill and/or stop some of the motion but they didn't really come out very satisfying. But it was a fun experiment.
