Looks like it was done with a polarizer. If so, how did you handle this when you stitched the Pano?

If you guys figure out how to use a polarizer in a multi-row multi-pic pano let me know. Polorizers ruin photographs by putting dark clumps in the sky. Even one picture would be ruined by a polarizer.

Except if you look at my large diesel truck at the bottom center you can tell the scale of the shot. It took two portrait shots with the 35L standing on end to get the whole rock into the picture.
