Found these two mosquito hawks making whoopie this afternoon. They weren't the only ones. They were everywhere. It was like a bug orgy or something.

    Weldone great macro i suggest come to Pakistan to shoot some mosquitos eek7.gif we have mosquitos in different colors and textures iloveyou.gif

    My front yard
    I didn't have to go far to take this picture. It was in my front yard. I live in southeastern Oklahoma in the United States.

    Very cool shots. Don't these things eat Mosquito larvae? I"m trying not to think spring and mosquitos in the same thought...........

    You called them Mosquito Hawks.....does this mean they are big in size?
    Mosquitos love me they do.... dang things almost carried me off last time I went to the Werribee Zoo, I had 9 bites around the same one spot on my arm and just as many on my knee.

    ... Dang things where biting me through my clothes!

    I like the detail in your shot thumb.gif bugs amaze me they do :D
