minolta is dead :'(

I was at meeting tonight talking to one of my group leaders and he said Minolta was bought out and then just ended their business. I had some good times with their cameras.
I am Trevor and I have upgraded:
Canon 40D
Canon EF-S 17-85 IS

    That happened a while back. October I think was when they threw in the towel. But cheer up, Sony has bought out their patents and assets, if I am remembering my press releases correctly.

    Ahhh, well that's some good news. But now maybe I can make some more money towards a new dSLR with my old camera
