The old standbys make for some pretty sweet shotsthumb.gifthumb.gif

You're either getting up close and personal to those hummingbirds or you've got hummingbirds the size of my canadian geese where you live. :D

I knew, of course, that trees and plants had roots, stems, bark, branches and foliage that reached up toward the light. But I was coming to realize that the real magician was light itself.

    I like the one
of the egret preening it's feather! I saw some egrets Saturday... but they were egrets for the rest of us (meaning those who don't have long zoom lenses). I even saw some in one of the farmer's fields as we drove by, I guess they were after worms??? It was a temporary flooded area. They were gone when we drove back or I would have stopped.

You bird type photographers must have way more patience than I do. I've photographed birds, but it takes patience and time to do it right.
