I bought this lens from ANDY on 1/25/06, and I havent even opened the box. So I am going to use Andy's original selling description because nothing has changed.
FROM ANDY:

You can see what it looks like, here. Condition is mint, there are no scratches, dents, dings, or other deformities. The glass is pristine. I hand selected this lens at B&H about six months ago. Comes with everything it did when new: E72 Front Lens Cap, Rear Cap E, ET-78II Lens Hood, LP1219 Lens Pouch. Original box, wrapping, instruction book, and warranty card included. Date code is US11xx which means it was made in Novemeber of 2004 at Canon's Utsunomiya, Japan factory.

The price remains at $800 and that includes any paypal fee and UPS insured shipping. International buyers are welcome, you'll pay any and all proper and legal customs, duties, taxes, etc. You'll also pay actual shipping charges to your location. For all buyers, cash, check, or paypal is welcome. Shipping will only occur after funds have cleared.

One Caveat - I have to give 1st opportunities back to Andy - and then Ann Mcrae and Aporia because they really wanted this lens from Andy...
but I would like to sell this lens ASAP while im in the mind to sell it because guaranteed i will probably change my mind abouit selling it as soon as Andy reminds me how sharp this lens is.........

I want it, Troy, if andy doesn't take it back. I may even get it shipped - could use it at the end of April.

I spent the weekend watching FM for this lens - at work now, don't usually open dgrin at work, but I did at just the right moment today. No regrets on my end.
Can you give me the workday to figure out details such as shipping and transferring money, please?

NO wonder you wont let the poor "slow" boy get a job. He has a full time job just cleaning up your rib bones from the yard after a long winter.

    I've ordered the 6-yard drop-off container, it was a long winter lol3.gif
