Harry the Humanitarian
I think Harry may have posted these before but I just got to processing them so I thought I'd put them up for you all to see what a sweet nice guy our own Harry really is. This Pelican had a hook caught in it's gullet and the line was protruding out it's mouth. A vet was there and caught the pelican and had some dgrinners and nikonians help hold it down while she inspected it. She was not able to get the hook out but clipped the line and gave the patient some fish for the trauma it went through.

It's not everyday you can photograph a series like that. It's too bad the vet couldn't get the hook out though.

How many photographers does it take to change a light bulb? 50. One to change the bulb, and forty-nine to say, "I could have done that better!"
