How many photographers does it take to change a light bulb? 50. One to change the bulb, and forty-nine to say, "I could have done that better!"

thumb.gifclap.gif You know you really suck...right? :D Most excellent, Harry. You can PM me the directions to this eagle, please. :uhoh rolleyes1.gif I have not had time to go out and find some for myself. There are suppose to be around 80 eagle's nests in Sarasota & Manatee county. So...where are they hiding. :cry

Nice, they come pretty close. When I shoot em, they're usually specs in the viewfinder. Nice work, Harry.

Thanks PF. The eagles didn't charge any fish for this session. They got their kicks watching me climb up and down those damn hills.

    Hey Ian,

Thanks. The 300mm F/4 and the 1.4 are an outstanding match and one of my favorite shoting combos. I tried the 1.7 on the lens and wasn't happy (slowed it dwon too much for my taste).

That last one is Tops Harry.

I have discovered a local eagle nest in a beautiful sycamore tree that I pass on the way to work.

When the days get a little longer I plan on stopping to see if I can get any nice shots. Right now it is getting dark when I drive by.

Thanks. This was the only time I have ever got so close to an eagle. We just had favorable conditions and a favorable setting to approach them.
