Maybe I'm off the wall but I think this is a very cool picture. It reminds me of something that my favorite photographer, Freeman Patterson might do. Mr. Patterson is SO the oposite of the typical John Shaw type and although Mr. Shaw is a very good photographer and well deserving of his fame I much prefer the subtle and sometimes off the wall approach that characterizes Freeman Patterson.

    Good photo.

Your photograph reminds me of trips when I was younger; the frosty mornings and warm friendships. The smile that the memories bring is tempered by remembering how far away I am from the mountains.

    Thanks,
    Brian

I like thisthumb.gif It makes me think is this a small shot of the shore or a shot taken from the air way above the lakeheadscratch.gif

    Cool shotthumb.gif

It started out looking like an abstract to me. Then, as it pulled me in, I studied it to see the lake shore and the shadows. It really holds the viewers attention. Good composition, lots of interest.clap.gif
