Yosemite Winter - Finally

I don't have a good story like Problemchild (see Yosemite Storm pictures). It only took me 2 hours to get to Yosemite on Saturday. I was waiting for a day like Saturday all year and only got to go at the last minute. Here are a couple of shots that are a little different than those great shots already posted.

It's been a while since I was there, thanks for allowing me the opportunity to revisit one of my favorite places.

    Nicely done.

Super work Tom thumb.gif I love how that place changes so much from season to season and sometimes from day to day.

Both pictures are worthy of large prints and a place on your wall clap.gif

When I see a bunch of atta boy, pat-on-the-back comments on a posted shot - sometimes I don't join the praising crowd. I just feel there are others expressing my praise for me. No more kudos necessary.

BUT your shots - both of them, but the second is my favorite - are simply great. No question about it - deserving of lots of praise thumb.gifthumb.gifthumb.gif

I knew, of course, that trees and plants had roots, stems, bark, branches and foliage that reached up toward the light. But I was coming to realize that the real magician was light itself.

    Exceptional
Man, those are some sweet shots. I love the contrast of the warm color and staight lines of the building against the detail of the trees behind in the first one.

The second one is just magnificent. The light tones throughout make it seem extremely delicate and the detail captured is just perfect.

    Thank you for sharing these,
    Ben

Thanks everyone. I hadn't been out shooting much lately but now you all have me jazzed to get out there and have some fun. The wildflowers are coming...
