Eating out, just took a bunch of random shots. Played around a little today.

I sure hope I posted this right.

Hope everyone is having a great weekend!

This is actually a pretty cool photo, Robin! It's a bit unsharp, but I love the composition and creative viewpoint you came up with. It not only fits the theme very well, but creates the sort of feel good mood we associate with eating in an intimate casual restaurant while chatting with a close friend. Maybe you could add some (more?) artistic filtering to it. I really do love the mood you captured, and oftentimes that is MUCH harder to do than getting a sharp image, if you know what I mean...

    Cheers!

I like it too, but it would be much better if the glass was in focus.

Very good shot. Sharpen it? Doing so would affect the mood it creates. IMHO, it's fine just the way it is. Good work.

I tried adding a (slight) gaussian blur layer and got this...
Not sure if it's any "improvement" on the original. I'm thinking I still like the funkiness of the original pic best with the grain and evident camera movement. Hmmmm....maybe best to leave the original as is. It has the feel of the captured moment on the fly, which is very appealing.

Thank you for the comments!!! I have been trying to upload the picture again and for some reason my computer is just not gonna let it happen.. UGGGHHH. Will try again tomorrow. I have some others I took that day too I had some fun with, would it be wrong to show a few more? Being a "beginner grinner" I don't want to take advantage of the fun!

People usually upload 2 or 3 to get opinions, then rework or reshoot and post again for comments.

    Neat photo, I like it...
