This one was from around 250 yrds, little noisy, these are 60% cropped, I'm working on my stalking skills so bear with me.







Found him sitting on a fence watching the cars go by, then the chase was on, 30 mins later





I could have thrown a stick at this guy and not scared him away

Nice series Froggy. Many Herons are damn skittish, tough to get close to, unless you have the stuffed kind they have in Florida

Excellent series fo shots. Good work on the kestrel shots. Kestrels are very hard captures because they are so skittish and so small.

BTW our herons aren't stuffed.
