Hi Dgrinners, we don't get much snow where I live in the uk, so off to Scotland for some real winter weather. Camping was fun even at -10C by day and -15C at night :D
Comments welcome.

This is a new view of Rannoch moor, only possible since logging.

I really like the way you caught the light on the hills in No. 3. Any more you can show us? :):

I like all three but the last is really cool. I like the contrast in terrain and the perspective the old structure gives at the bottom of the shot. More?

Funny thing, there were a few more photogaphers up the road waiting for the light to get better whilst this was going on behind them but shielded by a small ridge. They were not pleased to miss it rolleyes1.gif Chance is a great leveller.

Hi DanielB - looks peaceful but I was leaning into a force 10 at minus 10C on the edge of a ridge :D . I was glad to get the shot though.

Funny you should say that. Someone once told me to look behind me every thirty or so steps. I've gotten some of my best shots by following that advice.

Your album of this trip is great -- well worth looking at.clap.gifclap.gifclap.gif

Lovely shots of a beautiful part of the country. Just been over there for a week and going back soon!

Given your Username, you don't live near Norwich by any chance? I worked there for a while and lived in Sea Palling and Ludham. :):
