Minneapolis/St. Paul: The Twin Cities

It's that time of year in the Twin Cites where there is little or no snow and everything is still brown. I figured the only way to hide the ugly landscape until spring is to shoot it at night.

    Both of your photos appeal to me very much. How long did you expose each photograph for? I'll give the edge to your first photo because of the car lights going into and out of the city.

    yeah i like the shots a lot. i like the way the smoke trailed off. and the lights from the cars, very cool. can you post your exif info so we know what settings you set them to?

    you from minneapolis? you a big Slug (Atmosphere) fan like me? hah

    Lovely shots, particularly the light trails. They aren't easy to get right.

    Minneapolis: 30secs, f/8.0, ISO 64, with a 4X ND filter

    St. Paul: 7secs, f/3.2, ISO 64, no filters
