My wife is a big fan of the selective color photos. I would like to make a print of my youngest sampling her cake. I've only recently started toying with the selective color process. Looking for some pointers on what I can do to improve this photo...it doesn't necessarily have to be about the selective coloring.

Thanks,
:):vis

I love the expression " what just happened there, why is my hand like this"

As for the pic I like it but would tone it down just a little. Unless you were going for highkey, if so you accomplished it.

    i'm with eric.

also you could make the frosting on her hands a little pink too.... it would add more interaction between your subject and the cake.thumb.gif

For my money it's way too low in contrast and there's no blacks or anything close to it.

    Nice shot, very nice.

Never a fan of selective color, but it's not so bad here. :D
