Stunning, has immediate "wow" factor... but (you knew there'd be a but, right?) I think the strawberry could be a bit redder and the plate whiter... and maybe closer to the strawberry?

Your photo is very nice.
May be a little more detail in the shadow of the strawberry...
And better enhancement of the colors...

Here is what I see though in looking at the berry in the dish....fill the bowl with some milk and show it spalshing down into the bowl. This sounds familiar, where have I seen this before? Hmmmm, just an idea!

- levels to set w/b points
- lab curve (basic POP formula with a little extra time spent on the L channel)
- USM on the L channel (low radius, low amount)
- duplicate layer, dodge darkest area of strawberry
- set blending mode of dupe layer to screen, opacity 40%
- mask off the strawberry
