The Caesar Rodney Half Marathon was held in Wilmington, DE this past Sunday. Some members of my wife's running group were going to be in it, so we went out to cheer them on. Just like anything else, you'll see a huge variety of people in an event like this.

The young

The old

Those with a buddy

Those that ran alone

Those in their own little world

Those who were their own little show

Those with bad form

And those with great shirts

We were at a part of the course which overlapped itself, the return section being the 10-mile mark. You could see the change in demeanor the second time they passed us. It poured about an hour before the start and kept at it off and on the whole time, so the conditions weren't the best, but anyone who got out there and did it gets huge kudos in my book. :thumb

I shot the 20D in Av (mostly wide open), in AI Servo mode, and in portrait orientation. I thought the lens performed quite well.

    Nice shots Tristan thumb.gif

Being from the San Francisco Bay Area, I was sort of disappointed that you didn't capture a dozen racers dressed up as a centipede......lol But, then again, you didn't capture any neekid runners either, thank God lol3.gif
