From other forums:
EOS Capture will not work with this version.
Mac version is buggy. Many reports of crashing the OS when preferences are called. Do not download that version yet. Wait.
Noise Reduction is set in preferences. No sliders.

1.6 did not have the 16-bit bug that 2.03 has. 2.1 fixes the problem, or so they say in the documentation at the download site.
There are some bugs being reported. Nothing huge. People DL'ing 2.1 on XP systems with SP1 only... that sort of thing.
I'm ready to hit the GO button. There will always be the upcoming 2.1.1 to look forward to.
The new version has a contact sheet module, a nice addition, although I don't know if it prints EXIF data yet.

Anymore details on this? Does this mean EOS Capture is no longer installed, or perhaps disabled? I like EOS Capture for hooking up to the laptop for portrait work...
There's more on this listed at the download site in the version difference release notes.
Chuck Westfall ansers that question here.
