Northern Nevada Egrets

We don't have any Egrets in this part of Nevda this time of year, but we do have DUCKS! Quite a variety actually, I've set my self a goal to try and capture all of the species and I hope you don't mind me sharing them with you. The first species up is the Gadwall.

    Steve, I love that series, just love all the photos, the water and the grooming and the sleeping, etc shots. They are all wonderful!

    Great shots again, Steve. I notice some appear to be out on the water - were these taken using your new toy/canoe??

    Nice series Steve. I think perhaps you've dropped that 500mm on your head. Those are not egrets. They are however , rather fowl. rolleyes1.gif

    really enjoyed that series. i like ducks a lot, which is helpful, since we have about 2 dozen on our farm......keep 'em coming :)

    Thanks Kevin, no canoe this time. I tried it out this week though, those pintails are extremely skittish. I'll keep trying though.
