The only 'journal style' gallery i have has a feature(?) i don't believe i added
when setting up this page(S) but at this point i'm not sure ..
When you hover over the 'next' button it shows a thumbnail of that next image -

    It's called "image preview" and to turn it off, you put this in your Javascript section of your customization panel:

    showImagePreview = false;

    I hope this helps!

    I'm curious why you have "hide owner" turned on for that gallery? ear.gif

    Thanks Again,

    (I'm catchin on little by little - it didn't work 'til i added {} before & after,
    it probobly seems like you guys answer the same stuff over and over , however you really have helped me considerably--when i went to work this morning i had to move some images to a private gallery 'cuase when i tried
    Ivars method of replacing "http://,......." with "click here" on that same page..(which of course worked great when i followed the directions correctly!) i somehow set it so when you my 'edit' button it tried to link to my incorrectly entered link info and just got an error message!! ( Hence imagine my horror that i couldn't re-enter the caption box to correct it becuase hitting the edit button took me back to an error message!!!As it Was i was 20 minutes late for work!!) (this should be a good laugh for all who know what i did !!...and to make it worse i had emailed some clients the nite before inviting them to preview that same page this morning!!!!Laughing.gif) I finally decided i would back-track my steps tonite and.. Gee, guess what then i realized i could still access that 'caption box' thru "photo tools' menu - 'edit caption"... so yea i'm getting there!!)
    sometimes its staring me right in the face and i cant see it!!
    Its all the help and patience i've gotten from you that has got me this far ,
    thanks,
    rich
