No problems here with S*E. I just uploaded 20MB without any problem or speed issue.

Have you seen this thread? Cindy had similar problems with her DSL. Probably you should run the same test suggested by Andy. Maybe it's a sudden problem with your line. Those issues pop up out of the sudden - had those problems too.

    Hope this helps,

I tried to check packet loss (man wasnt that a run around) but in the end it said my fire wall was giving it trouble & im not dropping that off as its hardware & i will never get it back on again with my limited knowhow.

    Hmmmm.....

Gus, if the problem persists, you'll need to run that packet loss test.

Here's a FAQ for the test showing you what IPs you have to allow for the test. Maybe you can add those as allowed IPs to your Firewall. Give it a try.
From what company is your firewall and what's its product name?

Maybe I can help you then with the setup if you've got no success.

Gus, you have packet loss. Screw your ISP. Run the packet loss test yourself from dslreports.com.

Oh btw, are you on wireless for some reason?

How can i have packet loss when i sat on the phone to my ISP & we sent packets and saw the tally at both ends whilst we were watching & no were lost ? 600 sent & 600 got through.

I can't tell a tech at an ISP that i have packet loss whilst we dont have packet loss...more chance of getting david to by PC i recon.

I'm suggesting that that's the reason. Run the test yourself and you'll see.
