Eagle Surprise

Having gotten skunked all week looking for any remaining eagles along the Hudson River, I was pretty much convinced they'd all left the area for the season and migrated back north. So you can imagine my surprise when I spotted this lone eagle this AM.



He was a biggie too. I swear he looked 4' tall.


Here he is modelling for the bowsprit position on a schooner.

Well, you lucky dog you.....congratulations with your patience. The captures are great, especially the last two flying. Your're doing a good job of setting the bar way up there.
