Cat Or Cougar?

Hi all...I don't have any new shots to post today. Been very busy this week running back and forth to my vet's office. My buddy, Homer, was diagnosed with lymphoma this week. Been running home on my lunch hour to feed him with a dropper, so not much time for taking pictures. He is getting thinner, but still a beautiful cat. He has the prettiest cougar-like coloring...and sometime a wildcat attitude as well! Thought I would post some earlier pictures of him as I'm not sure he will be around much longer.

I love his "cougar" coloring....

I"m sorry your Bud is ill. He looks very well loved and well fed. Gorgeous face. I love cats with those kind of markings around their faces.

Sorry to hear about Homer. I lost my cat of 14 years last week and it was difficult. Your pics of Homer are a lot better than mine of Osi, but I am glad that I have them to remind me.

    Regards,

I'm sorry too! It's so hard.
he's a beauty and looks so happy. Too bad they don't have chemo for them. My mom suvived Lymphoma, which is more treatable now than ever before.

Hugs to you and your sweet beautiful kitty. He reminds me of my wonderful kitty that got killed by a coyote this year. I was devastated, and such a weird thing to happen. Best of luck to you.iloveyou.gif

Hey Saurora, I live about 20 minutes from you if you ever want to go out shooting, just yell.

Thank you all for your kind words. Homer took a turn for the worse this past week and Thursday I decided it was best to spare him anymore pain. While we waited for his appointment, I opened the door to the balcony and after dragging him out of his hiding place under my bed, he walked over and lay down next to Buddha and seemed to "strike a pose". This called for one last shot through very teary eyes. He just stared at me and seemed to be saying good-bye.

My condolences. I cried the day my own kitty passed away. I'll never forget her. They're such good friends.

    take care,

Had to make the same appointment for my cat of 10 years on my birthday a few months ago.:cry

    Worst. Birthday. Ever.

I know I'll find another cat someday, but, not for a little while.

    RIP guys

So very sorry for your loss. He is still with you in spirit and please remember that you gave him a life of pleasure that all cats should have.
