Just looking for some critiques...I am a amateur...big time. I had to wait until the clouds passed on some of these pics. Let me know what you think. I know it's probably nothing spectacular, I just want some opinions. Thanks looking.

Kevin, I like those images. In the first one, the texture in the grass, and the curves that divide the green from the blue and white from the sky, made me look a little longer to the image. It's a bit graphical. I prefer the color version over the B&W version in the second one. It's the slightly blue/grey sky that make the image to me. It's just that there's so little detail in the foreground, that I wonder if this wouldn't have been better if you'd have framed this tighter. Now there's a large part in the image where not much is happening for me.
enjoy being here while getting there

Kevin, I like these- you have a good eye. thumb.gif Don't be negative about your photo skills, just keep shooting and learning.

I prefer the 2nd one in color as well, BTW.

Your 1st pic is wonderful. Nice detail, awesome sky. You captured the play with light & the shadow extremly well. Keep it up.

Thanks for the comments...I was a little fustrated with that tree siloette one also...because of the foreground not having anything. I had a couple more shots of the tree cropped more, however the sky is blown out and doesn't have any clouds. I think it's too over exposed to save.

may I'll just crop the crap out of it....might make a decent header to someone's webpage...lol clap.gif

The first one is the one I like best. Have you considered cropping a bit off the top and bottom? Doing so would make the shot look panoramic. I think that may be nice.

Either way, high quality work. I look forward to seeing more of your work. Watching a photographer mature is a wonderful experience for me.

    Cheers.
