Server upload limit for guests??

I recently set up a guest password for my photographer so she could upload photos of my wedding to my site. The pics were all 8 MP and came in around 2-3 MB each. I gave her all the proper instructions to get the job done, but she kept getting a server error if she tried to upload over 6 photos at a time. Is this normal?
I want to make it as easy as possible for people to be able to do this & dont want to make them "babysit" the uploading process. I think she just used the standard browser upload method, so is there an easier way to do this? Thanks...Kerry
PS, I did a search & couldnt find anything.

She should use the Universal Drag and Drop. Here's where to look if she's having problems, or you can always have her email us at help@smugmug.com

Universal Drag and Drop is UNLIMITED and you can drag as many files into it as you like. Be sure she's not dropping in thumbs.db or any such non jpg file.
