The city of Palo Alto, California embarced on a project to reclaim some of the
wetlands at the Eastern edge of the city. The city maintains its waste water
treatment plant, a now capped dump and the airport in this area.

Just behind me is a major freeway, highway 101. In the hills across, you can
just make out a line of homes. Just above the tower on the left.

What's nice about the area is that despite the noise, it's a very peaceful place
to be.

Hope you enjoy this little bit of nature in the suburbs.

Ian

    Geesh, you get around!

You are looking across the bay and got the hills? Where exactly were you?

I just discovered the Duck Pond a few months ago.
