Well, Markjay, you've ended up with a weird coincidence of juxtaposition in successive threads!

How many photographers does it take to change a light bulb? 50. One to change the bulb, and forty-nine to say, "I could have done that better!"

A very cold morning, hand held so the shooting was more challenging than it might have been

Note that there are two in this one - the trees and the photographer....

I forgot somewhere else to mention that I really like your tagline, Scott. The sailing metaphor. I actually had a sailing experience like that with a close friend.

I was "letting" the friend learn by sailing my small sailfish (in my 40s then, I had been sailing since my early teens and was very familiar with those small boats). A storm came up, we were in irons (stuck towards a shore away from home, not going anywhere). I was fixing the situation "by feel", my friend was screaming that I was wrong as the books said................... (it was a "sail position" issue)

I kept thinking that I just wanted to live, not die by the books (lightening was all around).

We obviously made it, but it was memorable, and I love your tagline!

ginger (sorry for the hi jack) Oh, gorgeous photo, too, Scott!
