First boid shots
I think this is a Heron - please correct me if I'm wrong. I've seen this guy a couple times hanging out in the storm water pond at work. I happened to have the camera with me today so when I got to the car, I quickly swapped on the 70-300 IS and returned to the pond. He made his way around about halfway and then got sick of me and beat it. No, the BIF shots are BAD, so you can't see 'em. Lighting was cloudy and within an hour of sundown. How'd I do for my first time? Now I see why you birders love your long glass...

How many photographers does it take to change a light bulb? 50. One to change the bulb, and forty-nine to say, "I could have done that better!"
