How many photographers does it take to change a light bulb? 50. One to change the bulb, and forty-nine to say, "I could have done that better!"
Amazing -- I've never seen one of these in real life!

Hey there I went to look for the flying fox's down here in Geelong but I couldn't find them, I will have to go look for them again, I think my cousin gave me the wrong directions......... I know they make quite a racket when they are in the trees, but when I went to the place they used to be, I saw and heard nothing......... I'll have another look on the weekend.

:skippy Everyone has the right to be stupid, but some people just abuse the privilege :dgrin
unlike normal bats, which are rodents, these are related to lemurs.
most try to sleep during the day but the alpha males are constantly trying to see off randy bachelor males who fly into the harem and try to get it on with the women folk-this attention usually ends up in a fight.
still trying to get a shot of one particularly large old alpha male-he is huge, but also wary.
this was taken at the yarra bend colony in melbourne-they are camped between the river and a golf course and i took this from behind the second green.
i am using manual focus telephotos and still working on my focussing technique
