Canon Selphy?

Anyone with experience with the Canon Selphy? It looks like a great solution for the family requests for a snapshot. The new pricing of a pack on 100 sheets + ink runs about $0.28 per print, far better than my i850 can do.

I know it is not that versatile a printer, but it seems to be hi res and rates as decent quality...

Dang, 29 views and not one comment? Would you even consider this as a photo printing solution or does it seem too basic or duplicate of what you already have?

Don't be too discouraged. This happens sometimes. With 700+ printers available on the market at any one time, my guess is that those who peeked into your thread just don't have experience with this printer.

There are dozens of review sites on the net that cover these things. You might want to try searching for user experiences to gain further insight.
