After a long winter we finally had a tiny bit of sunshine. The light was great, so I took my time cycling home and shot a few pictures. Nr1 and 2 are from this morning, the rest is from about 5 o'clock.

Nice pictures. But I also wanted to say that you have some awesome art on your website!

Good to see someone else who likes to shoot straight into the sun. Sure, it makes the colors fade a bit, but for those of us who have looked out for the sun, it's nice to actually "see" the sunrays touching your subjects. And I really liked the last shot, Jeroen!

OK, I really #1 and #6thumb.gif. In #1, I would clone out the two birds jet stream. That would finish the image for me.

#6 - the blue sky distracts me somewhat. I would like to see a closer crop to boost the symetry of the image and to remove the distraction.

These images make me feel like I was back in Amsterdam, especially the first two. Are these taken close to the floating market?
The yellow glow of the sun on the buildings adds a lot to the image.
