Domke Dimensions Wrong (F4AF)

I just received my F4AF Domke and I'm quite disappointed. Not in the quality of the bag, but in the dimensions.
I did a ton of research (as usual) and every site said the bag's internal dimensions were 10L x 8W x 11D. Upon receiving it it seems much smaller, so I measured it and find it's 10L x 6W x 8.5D. It does have 2 velcro inserts which when velcroed in do cause the bag to become smaller to match the dimensions of the inserts. However, taking them out won't generate the extra dimension. The depth is the biggest disappointment. I had hope to leave a 80-200 on my 20D in that bag. Now there is no way.
I didn't need a huge bag so I didn't get the F2 which would have been longer, but narrower and not as deep (12 x 6.5 x 9). However, I wonder what that would have really been??
Anyone else see this issue? Unfortunately I don't have store near here that sells Domke. I wonder how the others measure out.
