I like the creamy background of #1 along with nice complementary colors and shapes. The second one is interesting as well, I like the kind of abstract look of the needles. Keep 'em coming.

Since you ask and are interested.

The 1st shot I like because of the sharpness and the softness at the same time. Selective focus is bang on the button.

The 2nd shot gives off an optical illusion. Quite neat really.

The 3rd shot is just too close on a subject that doesn't hold enough for me to stay and look at it. Yep, I love really high macro ratios but that one just doesn't do it for me personally. If it had something to break it up, like a fly or caterpillar on it, it would work.

The 4th shot in that series is just right in IMO. Nice balance between focus, DOF and background with good lighting.

The last shot, well if the focus was reversed and the first subject was in focus, it would work better. Its a vision and mind thing IMO.

All the best and nice to see a variety of shots with different perspectives in them. Exposures, all just right.

    Danny.

Means a lot coming from you.....you do some damn fine macro yourself!
Love your water drop and bugs shots.
Love to learn how to do water droplets like that where they reflect other images. headscratch.gif
The bugs in flight......that's just luck and a very fast lens.
Just some real amazing stuff you have done. thumb.gifthumb.gif
