A Duck
Just one lonely duck. I was trying my hand at shooting a bird for the first time. I used the 300 f4 lens, with the 1.4 extender. The light was not good this evening, due to an extremely heavy overcast. I pushed the ISO to 1250 to get a halfway decent shutter speed of 200 at f5.6, the largest aperature I could get with the extender on. Despite the lenses, this shot is significantly cropped. Anyway, here it is... a duck.
Sid.

Hmmm, that would be a duck's a*s! Nice tailfeathers. Thanks, Kate, I was surprised as well. Yes, the black water is actually an accident. I was fiddling with Levels to make my duck less bright when I noticed it also brought down the water. Kinda cool, so I left it that way.
