Playing around with cactus

I recently bought a Nikon Coolscan and am beginning the process of going through thousands of negatives (mostly taken with my Nikon FA) from the last thirty years. This is one of my first scans, which I am posting here mainly to see how it looks online. All comments appreciated. This was a cactus we had growing on our deck here in KY. Only bloomed a couple of times, but when it did it was gorgeous. Not sure the pict does it justice, but it's all I have left. Wish the depth of field was greater.

Lovely color, and I don't mind it not having more DOF.

A very attractive plant, and shot clap.gif
